The beach is world-famous for its incredible biodiversity, most notably the tiny, vibrant Strawberry Poison Dart Frogs that give the area its name. Insider Tip: While the main beach can have rough surf perfect for body surfing, look for the far-reaching sandbar just off-shore where the water is much calmer for swimming.
