Panamá Oeste

The country's youngest province: Pacific beaches, El Valle de Antón on the border, and the bridge over the Canal.

Panamá Oeste is Panama's newest province, created in 2014 when it separated from Panamá province. Its capital is La Chorrera.

The province covers part of the Pacific coastline, with beaches close to the capital, and borders El Valle de Antón, one of the country's most popular mountain destinations.

Enjoy the beaches of Chame and Coronado, explore La Chorrera and its traditions, and cross the Panama Canal over the Bridge of the Americas or the Centennial Bridge.
